The drive from Bullhead City

From Bullhead City, take Highway 68 east. The road climbs out of the river valley over Union Pass, drops into Golden Valley, and picks up US-93 into Kingman — about 37 miles. Forty minutes each way, easy round trip.

For the Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley side of town, same drive — pick up 68 just outside Bullhead and you're set.

Why locals make the trip

Most shops in the river area carry imported pieces or stabilized stone with no paperwork on where it came from. If you want finished Kingman jewelry — cut, set, signed, sized to you — from people who'll tell you exactly what the stone is, that's what we do. (If you want rough by the pound, Colbaugh's in Golden Valley is the mine's own outlet and we'll happily point you there.) A lot of our regular customers live on the Arizona side of the river and come up every couple months for a specific piece or to add to a stack.
