The drive from Prescott
From Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott, take 89 north through Chino Valley to Ash Fork, then I-40 west to Kingman. About 150 miles, two and a half hours. In winter, check the weather on the I-40 stretch before you leave.
For Prescott Valley and Chino Valley, the drive is a little shorter — pick up 89 right out of town.
